After pouring probably $2k into the NC in modifications I finally hit the autocross. I feel like the reason people dislike Autox is because a car that feels perfectly taut and precise on the street tra nsforms into a mushy pile of garbage when you truly drive it 10/10ths.

I kinda want an NC. Can they be had for similar prices as an NB1 could be had for a few years ago yet?

My fully loaded ‘08 power hardtop GT with 169k and 2 owners was $6k. Somewhat rough soft tops can be found under $5k if you look hard enough. There are no real mechanical quirks or reliability issues with these to speak of.

I had an NC2 (2011 PRHT) for 6 years. Took it autocrossing several times. As long as you have the optional LSD, once it’s on decent tires it’s pretty good. I never had any real trouble keeping up with everything else in CS.

Just have to work with the body roll and keep momentum up.
